LOL what a horrible match. Eddy Curry will be tired after 3 minutes same with Zach. And they have no pure PG.

omg you are right, I mean they are definitely going to keep all the players they have now, not like the team will look totally different in 2 years. I mean Donnie Walsh (one of the top 3 executives in the league) clearly will not do his job and provide his coach with players that don't fit his system.

I mean shit, it sucks that D'Antoni signed a one year deal, he will be stuck with all the players they have on their roster right now....oh wait...

Well they have little trading pieces and horrible contracts! Donnie Walsh top 3 lol when was the last time he won an executive award? Who the hell would trade for Curry or Z Bo? Jerome James lol. David Lee is the only decent young guy on the team.

Oh and D'antoni isn't that good of a coach he couldn't win with a 2 time MVP, Amare, Marion then Shaq and solid core players around them.

How are you going to get more pieces when you're locked into paying Randolph 16 mil a year and locked into paying Curry 10 mil a year until 2011? Who exactly is offering you draft picks or talent for those contracts? You have Marbury coming off the books this year with 26 mil, but I think that D'Antoni may want to keep him because he fits his style of play. If you resign him, exactly how much money do you think Starbury will demand again? Not to mention, you have Q Rich locked in until 2010 and Crawford until 2011. Good luck trying to find someone to trade you anything decent for either of them.

Face it. The Knicks are going to be bad for a long time. D'Antoni can't make those contracts dissapear.

the knicks were not the only team that made offers for Randolph. he could still easily be traded, and some stupid team will take Curry and give him a chance.

Marbury will not be re-signed unless it is for 8 mil or less, if he expects more money he can go to Europe.

There are teams that need a legit scoring option who can make his own shot, which is what Crawford can do. A team like Cleveland would love to have Crawford instead of wally Z, and consider Crawford makes less than Wally.

Richardson I agree is staying, but I also think he is going to have a medical retirement soon, unfortunately the contract isn't insured.

The knicks don't want anything in return for any of their players except for contracts that end in 2010 or earlier.

lee will be used to get a terrible contract like Curry Randolph gone. Crawford and Nate will be packaged together to get someone to bite on Crawford's long term deal.

lee should go anyway, he is what he is and is easily replaceable. He will play great in D'antoni's system, but a lot of players can. This is the system that made Richardson not look like a scrub, it made Raja Bell magically look good even though he couldn't make teams before that, it made james jones look good, and made Grant Hill look good this year.

The system makes the players. Nash wasn't special until he got to Phx, and he was in his athletic prime in Dallas. Amare plays no defense so they better pray they find someone who can run a system where their PF is not depended on for defense.

I wouldn't be so angry with marbury running this offense, except for the fact that I am pretty sure marbury is a crack baby. It would just explain so much that it has to be true. That dude is dumb as fuck. Not just stupid, but kind of like thank god you are good at basketball because I am pretty sure you are retarded.
