Are there any Manchester United fans who actually live in Manchester? Or are they all still in the south, Scandinavia and Asia?

Apparently there are one or two. All of my friends who are from Manchester are city fans though. Way too many of my friends from where I live (down south) are United fans, needless to say they get a lot of abuse

It's the way of the world. I live in Yorkshire, and rarely see a Man Utd shirt bar the occasional five year old. I got to Manchester and as the stereotype goes, it's a sea of blue.

Still, go to London, and there's more Man Utd shirts than Chelsea ones.

I'm just back from Tunisia, where the entire population are going around in fake Man U and Chelsea tops.

Apart from at the Tunis vs Sousse game. Three goals disallowed for Sousse, 60,000 people throwing chairs and the police were all carrying machine guns. The quality of the football was worse than you see in the local park as well.

How are other bigger cities with 2 well known teams?

Liverpool: mostly Everton fans?

Madrid: Atl MAdrid have a bigger following I have heard

Teams like Milan, FC Bayern etc etc

Liverpool, it depends who is doing what. Back when Everton were the division 1 team, there were fewer Liverpool fans. Now, the balance has shifted. There are quite a few turncoat gloryhunters about.

There are a hell of a lot of United fans in Manchester, it is a myth that the vast majority of football supporters in Manchester support city.

there are too many Man U fans in London its sickening. my brother is one of them and his never even been to Manchester. "Glory Hunters" is all they are, i try not to argue with them because you just cant win when Man U win everything almost all the time

Mancunians in general Support Man City. Go to a game at Old Trafford and you will see coaches from Northern Ireland and all over places around the UK along with many foreign tourists.
