Whatever the Buffalo Sabres golie in the late 80's injury when a skating blade cut his cartoid arterry takes the cake. I'm not even going to post the video. It's that disturbing.

Wasn't there a thread like this a few weeks ago? Anyway, I'd say Willis Mcgahee's injury in the national championship game against Ohio St. You couldn't really tell how he got hurt when the play ended. So they show the replay and it's obvious the producer didn't get a chance to tell the announcers what they were about to see because they didn't brace any of the viewers for what they were about to show. It was disgusting. I'm a Hurricanes fan so I felt especially sick since he was one of my favorite players and because, to a lesser extent, I figured it would ruin our chances of winning the game (which we would have done if not for the worst call in the history of college football. No, I'm still not over it)
For anyone who wants to watch it here it is. Even though he fully recovered and went on to have a successful pro career I still don't like to watch it.

Yeah I agree I was about to post the same video when I first saw it I couldn't believe I'm glad he bounced backed and made it in the Pro's.
