Whatever the Buffalo Sabres golie in the late 80's injury when a skating blade cut his cartoid arterry takes the cake. I'm not even going to post the video. It's that disturbing.

used to be Joe Theismann, but he has been replaced in the past 2 years by the wonders that is Shaun Livingston's entire leg snapping.

the slow-mo is at 30 seconds in

he tore his ACL, PCL, MCL, while also dislocating his femor and tibia which is pretty impressive to do to the two largest bones in your body.

Wasn't there a thread like this a few weeks ago? Anyway, I'd say Willis Mcgahee's injury in the national championship game against Ohio St. You couldn't really tell how he got hurt when the play ended. So they show the replay and it's obvious the producer didn't get a chance to tell the announcers what they were about to see because they didn't brace any of the viewers for what they were about to show. It was disgusting. I'm a Hurricanes fan so I felt especially sick since he was one of my favorite players and because, to a lesser extent, I figured it would ruin our chances of winning the game (which we would have done if not for the worst call in the history of college football. No, I'm still not over it)

For anyone who wants to watch it here it is. Even though he fully recovered and went on to have a successful pro career I still don't like to watch it.

Yeah I agree I was about to post the same video when I first saw it I couldn't believe I'm glad he bounced backed and made it in the Pro's.

I'm sorry but none of those injuries are as bad as the one I posted. Not even close.
