Um explain this...
Why is it okay to observe the other team but not tape them? I for one don't understand this whole damn fiasco. You could have 100 guys on the sidelines with pad and pencil, observing the other team and coaches. But not a camera! That's why you have huddles and signals in football. Otherwise the QB would stand at the line and yell "Off Tackle right on two!!!"
Aish. Who cares.

what's not to understand? U can dissect tape over an over and view the athletes and plays in motion rather than looking at some jotted notes from weeks ago.
Do i think they were the only ones doing it? No. but they won 3 super bowls by a field goal, so maybe if u took away that edge they wouldn't have one all if any of them

this Buffalo fan is clearly angry for some reason at Roger instead of being angry at fans like himself who cannot generate enough revenue for the Bills. The Bills will be moving to Toronto soon because it is a real city and can actually draw revenue for the team. This fan has misplaced anger. Instead of being angry that he lives in shit Buffalo, he is angry at the commissioner. Just like Seattle Sonic fans are angry at the commissioner instead of being angry at the right person, the former owner who was so desperate to sell the team, he sold it to a man who you could clearly see had no real intentions of keeping the team in Seattle.
The Patriots should not be contracted, this is laughable. They just got caught, they are being singled out like Barry Bonds. Most teams cheat, and I am pretty sure Bellicheck learned this trait from Bill Parcells. I am sure Parcells has video-taped shit before. The Browns probably do this as well since Romeo used to be a Pats guy. The Jets told on Bellicheck because possibly Mangina has a problem with doing what it takes to win.

Just about all the teams tried it, but most didn't have any success with it so they stopped.

So your argument is that New England should still be considered a great team because they're better at cheating than everyone else?

Roger Goodell has handled the situation horribly. He should be eliminated as well.

They should be considered a great legacy because they are. It may have given them an edge from time to time, but I don't think it correlates to anywhere near the advantage that the haterz are trying to say it was.
If everyone else was doing it (or at least many others) then how is it even cheating? They were trying to steal defensive signals so Brady could run audibles - sure maybe it worked a little, they probably wouldn't have tried it if it didn't; but that doesn't mean that every single time the Patriots had the ball they knew what the other team was doing and won because of that.
They didn't use it at all this year and still only lost one game all year, and that wasn't til the Superbowl FFS.
