can't wait till giambi's contract is up. Never knew seattle paid sexson that much to strikeout and hit low .200s. Mike hampton has seriously made obscene money doing nothing.

what were the giants thinking giving zito that kind of dough?

Manny Ramirez is worth every penny. They guy can carry the whole team for a month if he has to. Consistently one of the best hitters in baseball every year; he ain't a bad left fielder either.

they are all overpaid.......sitting in the cheap seats used to be a family night out now its more than a mortgage payment to take wife and 2 kids......

28000000.00 is 78,000 a day....come on ...........you would think for that much a rod would hit in the playoffs

george brett 350 average 10 home runs lcs and world series 13 lob

JD Drew should make more this season, he was Mr. Clutch in the post-season last year.

the people who like baseball usually do so because their father teaches the game. I guess that makes you a bastard?

oh and btw, they do earn that money, just look at the revenue the Yankees, Red Sox, and Mets pull in. Look at the jersey sales that A-Rod, Ichiro, Jeter, Santana, etc... bring in

He is a terrible fielder. He does make up for it on the offensive side.

their are some terrible players on that list......... i thought miguel cabrera would be their somewhere, the tigers pay their players shit loads.

this isnt good news for clubs like the indians as i didnt see sizemore, martinez, perralta, lee or carmona anywhere but many clubs would pay big $$$ for them. wheres utley, rollins, wright, reyes, hanley ramirez and so many more??
