I won the MD state title my senior year, and finished 2nd as a junior.

This man speaks the truth.

Every state has thier studs but the difference is the guy taking 8th in PA would probably place in the top 4 in most other states.

I remember going to the Beast of the East and you would have State champs from a lot of states but it always seemed to be PA, NJ and OH on the medal stand.

PA kids are a whole 'nother planet. I placed in my class tournament and got shit on by kids who were .500 from PA. OH and NJ dont fuck around either. I wrestled a freshman from MN who I had 40lbs on and he wrecked me when I was a sr.

I wrestled in HS, wish I could say I was good, but alas, that wasn't the case. I was too tall and skinny to cut weight and got pounded by a bunch of muscleheads a foot shorter than me.

But still, loved every second of it.

I'm from NJ and I always thought we were maybe top 5, but definitely not 1. I don't know, that's just what I heard.

I lost my match at districts senior year that I would have won if I hadn't eaten mushrooms and smoked mad weed earlier that day.
