i really hate the university of michigan. i'm hoping to get in there in about 2 years, but it's run by such militant liberal morons that i'm really worried. there have tons of cases where they'll favor someone with off the charts gpa's and scores for someone who adds ethnic/racial diversity. the undergrad areas are full of out of staters who couldn't afford or get into ivy league/standford type schools too. the school loves their out of state tuition.

I'm a huge Uof M sports fan, but you are so right about the liberal morons running it. Michigan voters just voted to eliminate affirmative action in the state but the pres of michigan was throwing a fit about it, saying how it will ruin the schools diversity. I believe they are working to get it repealed(b/c they know better than the voters). I too have known a few people with off the charts academic achiievments who have been turned away soley b/c of their race. Makes me sick. __________________
