Former Red Sox bench coach Brad Mills named new manager for the stros

meh.. was hoping it would be bagwell. according to terry francona tho, mills practically ran the red sox alot of the time. so i guess it'll be intresting to see how he does.

Yea Tito has always praised Mills. Sometimes when a bench coach/pitching coach/hitting coach moves on and the manager praises him I wonder if it's just his buddy giving him a boost on the way out. But Francona has been praising Mills since he's been here. Good for Mills.

Acta is actually a decent manager and is a good fit for the tribe. There's not much anyone could have done with that nationals team.

FYI Acta turned down the astros job to manage the indians.
