You are right. I was thinking about the assists because I'm pretty sure Podolski would not have gotten best young player if it wasn't for Klose's fantastic assists.

yea i think klose really is a top notch player, he made podolski look quality partnering him.

I'm bummed that I can't root for England and then watch them lose in the quarterfinals.

I'll be rooting for the Netherlands, but their group is tough. That and they always fuck up somehow, usually in penalty shootout.

Spain SHOULD do well, if you look at who they have: Fabregas. Puyol, Pepe Reina, Torres. But like England, they play like shit as a squad.

I think France will take it. Ribery, Anelka, Henry and Nasri are all awesome.

Portugal look good, but they don't have a striker.

Reina won't get near a pitch for Spain. Casillas is their #1 by far. And I'm a Liverpool fan.

France are good on paper. But that's it.

Italy or Portugal will win it. Ronaldo got 40 goals this season for ManU. Goals shouldn't be a problem for them.

yes they do have Ronaldo, but he has yet to prove himself on the big stage. Maybe he'll do it during the euros? or even next wednesday
