Ok, apparently I'm a pretty poor fantasy baseball manager so I'll probably be coming back here from now on for advice on potential trades.

My pitching is right near the top and I've got a pretty solid bullpen there. I'm currently near last place though and I need some serious hits to make a comeback. Hits, HR's, RBI's, etc. are the categories I need to improve in.

My buddy wants to trade me Derek Lee for Carlos Zambrano straight up, what do you guys think? Zambrano just got off the DL and my buddy wants the trade before Zambrano makes his first start back since getting off the DL on Friday. Advice?

ehhh.. I have Utley and there is really no one I would trade him for.

2nd basemen are hard to come by. You can find outfielders that are productive in most free agency pools.

Quentin has the ability to get injured also

utley's been one of my keepers for the last 3 years. Barring injury, there's no better fantasy 2B in the game and he's top 10 overall.

Matters, I do the deal only if I have a competent replacement to fill the 2B spot. If not, forget it. Youre only as good as youre weakest links and the 2B spot is one of the hardest positions to fill in fantasy baseball...

Well, for now I decided to just reject the trade and pick up Willy Taveras off the available players list. Only hitting around .240 right now, but his average has been higher in his past seasons and already has 35 stolen bases. Thanks for the advice.
