Wake Boarding

So I just recently moved out to Florida for work an decided to pick up a new hobby since I dont know many people. It wasn't until I moved out here that realized how many people here Wake Board. So I decided to Buy a setup and give it a try.

I have been riding for 2 months now and it is the funnest thing I have ever done. Does anybody else wake board or Wake Skate, whether it is behind a boat or at a cable park?

nah, not a failure thread.

where in fl are you? and did you relocate from az? (saw your sig)

i came to phoenix recently from ft.lauderdale. windsurfing was fun, as was scuba diving which you have to check out while you're there. hog heaven (a wreck) is amazing.. ironically the only time i've done any wake boarding was here in az, and it is a blast.

Yeah graduated from asu and moved out to Orlando for work. I really have not done much else but work and Wake Board. I'm looking to buy a boat in July after I get back from Vegas. A guy that works for me is a scuba instructor so I am gonna set up some classes with him soon hopefully.

AZ is a great place to live. The ladies are top notch.

i'm a hurricane mutha ... lol am into the devils (sports) here too though, with erickson, and sendek they're both great to watch.

the only time i've spent in orlando was kissimmee (sp?) - disneyworld. on your weekends you should drive south to check out sflo, completely different. plus the marlins are rocking this year, and it's always easy to get a few tickets.

Yeah I work in Kissimmee. I went to Sflo for the Heat/Suns game, and to go check out Calder Race Track, but didnt have much time to spend. I will have to make a trip of it. I spend alot of time in Tampa for work.

We have Season tickets for the Bucs as well so i go out there on some weekends. I'm planning on going down to catch the Marlins/D-Backs series when AZ comes here. This will be the 1st time this series has been relevant on both sides.
