In my opinion the Spurs have become a dirty team. There is no doubt in my mind that Bruce Bowen is dirty and will do whatever it takes for him to gain and edge against a better player. I was giving Horry the benefit of the doubt because he hasn't shown that he is dirty throughout his career (just clutch as hell). But after last night undercutting West and last years plowing of Nash I think he is dirty too.
The Spurs are becoming dirtier as they age, trying to cover up for losing speed by taking people out. They are still the best team in the NBA but I'm hoping the Hornets take them out in game 7 in New Orleans. I am so tired of watching them in the finals.

I would love for you guys who cry about everything to go watch the old school pistons games... The play with horry was unnecessary but it wasnt dirty, he didnt throw an elbow into his back, he simply leaned into a pick...stop all the crying and how bout we man up in our pro sports

That wasn't a dirty play. If West didnt have a bad back, nobody would even bring this up. it was just a hard pick.
It was a clean back pick. It's just that West had a bad back before hand and then jumped backwards into a good hard pick.
BTW, people are calling the Spurs dirty...compared to the soft D of today...maybe. Compare it to the days of the 70s and 80s, the Spurs are child's play.

Yup, this foul only resulted in 2 shots from the line...
NBA players are too protected...I love basketball, but today's game is so touchy-feely...everyones friends with everyone else. Thats why I like Horry - he doesnt care about friends in the league. Hes here in the playoffs to do one thing and thats win the title. If that means playing a little dirty, so be it - I'd take him on my team any day of the week...
