Cubs just acquired Rich Harden from the A's

The Chicago Cubs just acquired Rich Harden. It's obvious that this move is to counter the Brewers trade for CC Sabathia. What do you guys think?

That's what they're basically doing. They figure now they have two aces, Zambrano and Harden to match with Sheets and Sabathia.

Cubs got the better deal. It doesn't seem they gave up anything and they got themselves a guy that could be better than Zambrano in the NL, if healthy. I'm surprised Beane settled for so little. Rich Hill should have been included as well.

I think Harden was in the Cubs' sights already. And I don't think Sabathia is enough to pass the Cubs. The Brewers still need work on their bullpen.

Glad to see the NL Central is competitive. I still believe the Cubs walk away with the division crown.

Wow great trade (if Harden stays healthy). Gaudin is a good addition to the bullpen.

Highway Robbery.
Every single person the cubs gave away is a career utility player at best.
