Kobe is a legend
I mean, he has a good team. But not close to the allstar cast that Jordan had. If Kobe takes this ship away from the Spurs and Celtics, than he is almost at Jordans level, if not at jordans level. WAR KOBE!! Fuck the haters

not at Jordan's level
but yes, Pippen is far better than anyone on Kobe's team, but that is also why Jordan has 6 rings and Kobe is working on his first while being the main man.
I love how everyone brags about Gasol now and fails to realize that if you take Kobe off of the Lakers they are worse than the Memphis Grizz were this year with Gasol. Yet the Lakers lead the West, while the Grizz had the 4th worst record in the league.
The current Lakers without Kobe would have
Gasol, Odom, Fisher, Farmar, and ....
the Grizz this year had
Gasol, Gay, Miller, Conley, Lowry, and Darko for some solid flopping and blocking
Kobe is the best player in the league since he wins the tie breaker over Lebron (defense).
He will single-handedly beat the Spurs and then he will make Ray Allen his bitch against Boston.

Jordan also had Rodman, Kucoc, Harper. He had an allstar fucking cast. Kobe is epic if he takes the ship with his average team. Plus all the people said he couldnt do it without shaq. That is the only way ppl criticize Kobe. If he takes the ship, what are the haters gonna say?
Lebron might have led his team to the finals last year, but he had the easy eastern conferennce to go through. In the west, he wouldnt have went passed the first round. Kobe could made it to the finals the last 4 years, if he was on the eastern side.

Hakeem Olajuwon won a championship with Otis Thorpe, Robert Horry, Kenny Smith, and Vernon fucking Maxwell. THAT is epic. Hakeem is the best center of all time and the second best player of all time.

this is all true
that asshole made Ewing, Shaq, and Robinson look like amateurs when he completely dominated them head to head. He traveled a lot though on the spins, but no center was ever more of a complete player. Wilt couldn't make a shot outside the paint, and Kareem had holes. Hakeem had no weaknesses. He also made it count when he finally got a good wingman in Drexler.

He even outplayed Kareem when they went head to head in the 80s. Fact is, Olajuwon played his career during the golden age of centers, and he was never outplayed. He not only ran an offensive clinic on guys like Kareem, Ewing, Robinson, Shaq, but he held them to numbers that were far below their career averages. I throw up in my mouth every time I hear someone say Shaq > Hakeem.

Woah, take it easy there....He as great player but you fail to mention that he played Kareem in the twilight of Kareem's career, and he schooled Shaq when shaq was a baby in the league. Calm down. He's not the greatest Center of all time...one of them yes, but these guys might disagree:
1) Wilt Chamberlain
2) Bill Russell
3) Kareem Abdul Jabbar

TheDirty.com Blog Archive Kobe & Vanessa- The DIRTY Smell Test
Quote:
DIRTY ARMY intel was received about an alleged torrid affair between Kobe Bryant and Vanessa Curry (not his wife, Vanessa Bryant). The Dirty Source stated this was definitely a cloak and dagger affair… completely covert. The Dirty Source is holding images as well. This alleged affair lead to the forced resignation of Vanessa from the 07-08 Laker Girls Squad. We reached out to Vanessa and the Laker’s organization to get statements. The Lakers claim that Vanessa resigned from the squad to pursue a “hosting career”. Vanessa obviously did not want to speak… though BTW she has a sexy voice!
This DOES NOT pass “The Dirty Smell Test”. If you are 18 years old, lived in Hayward, CA, are the hottest of the Laker Girls and your team is in the NBA playoffs… WOULD YOU QUIT DURING THE PLAYOFFS???? EXXXXXACTLY!
|
Apparently Kobe cannot resist a Latina woman with the name Vanessa

Twilight of his career? Jabbar averaged over 23ppg the season Olajuwon dominated him in the playoffs en route to the Finals. Shaq was over 29ppg until Hakeem's Rockets swept him in the Finals.
Chamberlain and Jabbar dominated on offense. Russell dominated on defense. Hakeem dominated both parts of the game collectively to a greater degree than anyone not named Michael Jordan.
