Spain dominated the tournament, they deserved it.

I suck at picking games, every game I felt strongly about a team I wanted to win in the knock out stages, they lost. That started with Croatia being eliminated, Netherlands, and then Germany in the finals. At least Italy didn't win.

Congrats to Spain, good to see a new team take some silverwear and add some depth to the upcoming tournaments. Finally they live up to the billing they always get.

I watched the second half. Saw at least three flops by the Spaniards, none by Germany. I picked Spain to win, and they won on both accounts (the score and the number of flops).

Congrats to Spain, they played with a lot of style.

WTF?? You must have seen what you wanted to see. Both the Spaniards and the Germans were flopping, but neither was excessively doing it. If anything, I thought the Germans were getting too many questionable stopped ball opportunites, but none of it was excessive.

Congrats Spain, Torres really came through in the clutch against some big defenders.

BBC SPORT | Football | Euro 2008 | Xavi awarded Euro 2008 accolade

Xavi voted best player of Euro 2008. Who said Cesc was better than Xavi?

No one did. I just disagreed with your "Xavi is twice the player Cesc is" comment. Total nonsense. Cesc played great and actually had the most assists of the tournemant despite only being a sub for much of it. Nice try though Spoiry

My congratulations to Spain. You were the better yesterday. You were the better team throughout the tournament... highly deserved win.
