I don't like this idea at all. The CFL has been around longer then the NFL has and it's rules and game in general are much more different then what people may think. With the longer field, the 3 downs, the extra man on the field, it provides a completely new strategy for teams to play with.

i dont watch football, but i always thought the CFL should pretty much be the what the AHL is to the NHL

So you would rather keep it as is than change some rules and have the NFL sponsor it? I would think that the added publicity and revenue would make the Canadian people happy. And I would think that a move like this would eventually pave the way for NFL expansion in Canada.

The NFL has its eye on Toronto now! The Bills are playing 1 game a year in Toronto starting next season I believe. Co-operation between the leagues now is probably more important then when I dreamed up this idea!

NFL/CFL should just merge together and make the game faster with having just one team on the field and no offence and defensive teams coming on and off.
