The Breeders' Cup

This friday and saturday features the best horses in the world all competing for glory. Im not sure if there are many horse racing fans here but its always fun to bet or even just watch on tv for fun. It will be played on TSN and TSN2 here in canada and i think ESPN in the states. If you want to see the list of horses who are running you can go to Breeders' Cup. Im going to post my bets i will be making later on. IF anyone has any tips or horses they like post them here. Good luck

My uncle had a son of Seattle Slew that was the money fav to win the 2yr old race leading up to the triplecrown. It placed 2nd and then he cashed it out to some Saudis for big loot and it never raced again. Said the horse was a genetic freak but was mercurial to ride.

12-1 odds. Dont like the favorite since they almost never win the big races. Dont like thats its a female horse as favorite. So want a longer shot. Like Baffert. Like that it was already racing in California and won in Del Mar. Also like that it has 10 races under belt instead of 5-6. Like middle post.

sounds good, i never take favorites but zenyatta looks tough to beat she had never lost thats almost impossible to do in horse racing, but i still gotta handicap the race ill remember your horse

La nez lost by a length to blind luck who is the fav in the next race, and then came back and won with new jockey mike smith, If she likes the turf at all i think mike smith brings in a longshot upset on the Juvenile turf

This one is a toss up i think either 3 can win but i will take the highest odds for the most value
