Best sporting events you have attended
What are the best sporting events you have ever attended. college, pro, high school, whatever it was list them
Here are my top 3
1. The 50th running of the Daytona 500: Say what you want about NASCAR and how much you hate it, but there is no event like the Daytona 500. I have a feeling if everyone who hates NASCAR ever attended a live race, it may change some minds.
2. 2007 Feista Bowl Boise State v. Oklahoma: I almost didn't go because im not a fan of either, and though it would be a boring game, but I had free tickets and decided to go. It was the best finish to a game I have ever seen, and became an instant classic.
3. Game 7 2006 NBA Playoffs/ Suns v. Lakers: With all the bad blood brewed over from Raja's clothesline of Kobe, and Kobe's game winning 3pt shot at the buzzer earlier in the series, it set up for an amazing game 7. On top of it all PHX won by almost 30.

1. Game 6 1996 World Series Yankees vs. Braves. I almost came to tears, that was the first yankee title of my lifetime so it was big for me.
2. Game 7 2003 ALCS yanks vs. sox
3. Couture vs. silvia columbus, ohio. That place was a mad house.
There are a couple more, but these stand out for me

UFC 75 @ O2 Arena (Just an awesome day)
FA Cup Final 2006 @ Millenium Stadium (Despite the bin-dippers poaching the cup off us)
West Ham vs Spurs 2006 @ Upton Park (Lasagnegate)
Army vs Navy 1982 @ Twickenham (My uncle, currently a Brigadier General, scored 3 tries & made 2 for the army & was offered a trial to represent England - despite being a Scotsman )

I'm not a Yankee's fan, but me and my buddy are tryin to make plans to catch a game at Yankee stadium before the Demo it. Its one of those places that all sports fans should experience.
I also want to go see a game at Fenway, Wrigley, and wish I could have gone to the old Tiger stadium.
Kinda tough though cause Im in Florida, and he's in Arizona, so its a little out of the way.

Lucky! I have watched that game about 5 times since it happened, and I'm not a fan of either team. Possibly the best college game in many years.

do it man, i've been to dozens of games and everytime the place still looks pimp. B nice to catch the all-star game, but the ticket prices are kind of silly, still debating. been to wrigley last year when i hit chi-town for lallapolooza, that's a cool looking place, good experience. Fenway's like a minor league stadium. Headed to LA in a few weeks so i'm gonna try to catch a dodger and angel game, just to do it

I wish I could have gone to that game, I am a big time USC fan but the game itself, no matter how disappointing the outcome was, would have been an amazing time.
