Who is your fav announcer, (besides bill goldberg)
Chuck has been the voice of the raptors since 1998 and has been doing play by play since the 80's.

If he was doing TV for a team like the Lakers since the 80's he would probably be known as one of the best commentator in sports history. To bad he likes radio to much and picks obscure markets.

Gotta love good ol' Gus. The dude gets excited and for some reason, that pisses a lot of folks off. I for one, enjoy his commentating.

As previously mentioned in this thread, it'd have to be Chick Hearn. I don't think the johnny-come-lately Lakers fans realize how fortunate we were to listen to such a legendary announcer. RIP Chick Hearn...

Currently speaking, I'd have to go with Vin Scully. I treasure watching Dodgers games on TV because of this man.

Raftery is awesome, so is Gus Johnson. I'm one of the 3 1/2 NBA fans left in the universe so I also have to add Marv Albert. As a Mets fan, the SNY team of Gary Cohen, Keith Hernandez, and Ron Darling is the best ever.

Hell yeah about the SNY team. Hernandez is hilarious and Darling didn't win an emmy for nothing. They're a perfect mix.

They are awesome dude. A friend of mine went to spring training this year and hung out with Ron Darling at some of the bars, said he was the coolest guy. They're all apparently really approachable at PSL. I'm going with him and a few other friends next year.

I've been wanting to go to PCL for a while now. i might make the trip next year too. Darling is fantastic and funny himself, and then you have Keith who's so random and does whatever he pleases, but it's all funny.......but when its time to talk baseball they're fantastic when they're serious also.
