As far as the player who gets the most calls from ridiculous flops: Dwayne Wade.

LOL. Why Wade? Because he shoots a lot of free throws? I'm sure the fact that he drives hard to the basket 25-30 times/game has nothing to do with that. His multiple injuries must be from his flopping and not from actually getting hit.

This is coming from someone from Miami. Sorry brah, but I watched him play even before he was in the NBA and he flopped even while at Marquette. Personally I have nothing against a flopper, because that's up to the referees to catch that.

Wade is a big time flopper. Half he time he drives to the basket he barely gets hit and flys to the floor like the world is over. He does take some hard contact, but more often then not it's bullshit.

The difference was that the bad boys and jordan's bulls could play offense, Riley's knicks could not play offense and thus were not a complete team.

I've never noticed it to be blatant, but yeah, I am biased. But even if he has flopped on some of his drives, he's still taking punishment the entire game and taking hits that are sometimes missed by the refs. So he almost deserves the freebies. What pisses me off is when a guy like Dirk flops on a jump shot. I once saw him get cleanly blocked on a jumper by Bruce Bowen, and Dirk acted like he'd just got smoked by a shotgun. When he got up, he was all grimacing and holding his arm as if it were broken. What a douche.

In the NBA they can just stick a big lump like tim duncan near the basket and he will get the job done. That gets totally phased out in the olympics.
The dream team from afew years back could beat anyone with their eyes closed.

When Team USA loses in International play I think it has more to do with the 3-point line being so close. An International 3 is a long NBA 2. Euros= very good shooters, NBA= pretty good shooters . The games I've seen Team USA lose, the Euro players flop like crazy. There is no way European players are on the same level as American players at playing defense. Also, in International play the Court is smaller, which benefits slower players(euros) that don't simply rely on athletic ability(NBA) on the defensive end.

I agree to an extent, but I still think the main problem is that our guys rely too much on athleticism now, and don't shoot that great. Lamar Odom being on the last Olympic team was a fucken joke. I know we're never going to have our very best out there ever again, because we don't have enough guys that want to play, but at least we're trying to head in the right direction again. Having guys like Hinrich and Redd will help alot. Plus no one is going to be able to guard Kobe.
