It makes the game unwatchable. I've been an NBA viewer for 20 years, but have hardly watched even the playoffs this year. It's pathetic and embarassing.

I never thought I'd say this, but there is now a sports more pathetic than soccer.

Lol, come on man, I'm a baller. It's been around for years. But yea, it's the first time I've ever used the term here on SD. I live in Madison, WI but used to be from the Twin Cities.

thats why team USA has started to struggle in the international games.
In the NBA the ballers can just slash to the basket and draw a foul for practically anything.
In the Olympics they face teams who are actually allowed to defend and the NBA ballers are baffled why they dont get fouls called.
In the NBA they can just stick a big lump like tim duncan near the basket and he will get the job done. That gets totally phased out in the olympics.

The dream team from afew years back could beat anyone with their eyes closed.

Dirk is extremely talented, but I have kind of lost some respect for him because I've seen a lot of instances of him acting unsportsmanlike. He is always getting in the officials faces whining when he doesn't like a call or throwing a temper tantrum. I've seen videos of him knocking stuff over backstage after loosing games. But at the end of the day his job is to win basketball games, not win my approval, lol, so who cares what i think.

Certainly, the last 'real' basketball was teams like Riley's Knicks and the Bad Boys vs. Jordan's Bulls.

I guess Kobe dropping 80 with no one allowed to guard him is more exciting from David Stern's standpoint. The league has become a joke.

I feel you man, the flopping during this playoff series has been unbelievable. I have seen some oscar-worthy performances.

I hate flopping with a passion. Although I am a fan of Manu Ginobili who is one of the worst. I remember Jeff Hornacek that used to be on the Jazz was the worst of all time. I still hate that guy. It's such a pussy move IMHO.

Is it just me, or do the spurs seem to be especially fond of "the flop"?
