I love trolling for stripers, fishing for large flatheads, and carp fishing.

Can someone explain to me the lure of ice fishing. Sitting in a tiny shack freezing your ass off in the middle of a frozen lake pulling out small fish does not sound like fun to me.

I love bass fishing, but it's all catch and release for me. If I'm fishing to eat, I like Walleye fishing and bluegill and perch are excellent eating.

Every summer i used to go to my Grandmas and catch bluegill. I always threw them away because i did not think you could eat them

thisis a way i pan fry crappie alot, i scale em de-gut em and remover their heads, anything more seems to be a waste of meat, then get some diced onions, parsley, whipped butter, and maybe a little minced garlic mix it into a contiguous herb mixture. oil the pan and put it on about med-high heat, then put a few Sac-au-laits in the pan and put the herbs in between both sides of the fish. i general brown on both sides till the fish is flakey, usually take no more that 3-5 mins a side. there is nothing technical about this recipe, i found myself being 17 with a big stringer of fish so i kinda worked out the kinks a little until i found something that was easy and delicious. usually when i cook fish i dont really do much to them because i like the fresh caught that day fish taste. i hope this helps.
