Australia has too many Football codes(a bit like Ireland).Iam a Rugby fan(both codes)but Aussie Rules is the number 1 code down under.
I would of loved to have seen proposed hybrid game of Aussie Rules and Rugby League which was meant to have been the Australian game i.e.like the NFL back in 1933.

People in the south like AFL ,people in the north like Rugby League has been that way for a hundred years and it will never change.
Also the only game that can be called Australia's game is Cricket
