Its sad to see that happen to anyone but, it just seems worse when it happens to someone whos entire life was devoted to a sport like football.

I am sorry but that is BEYOND retarded..... on what basis does playing football make that life anymore meaningful then someone elses???......what about a missionary who saves lives in another country.......a doctor who performs life-saving heart surgeries???....a policeman or fireman who puts his life on the line for the public???.......It was a horrible thing to happen but... a football player is simply an employee of a company....... nothing special about that............. stupid stupid statement,,,,, you are an example of the mentality of everything that is wrong with so called "fans"...its just a frigging game......... ....as far as the thread in general..... best of luck to the player and best wishes to the family. __________________

This was just really unfortunate, I wish that he and his family can get through this, I'll be praying for the guy, and really do hope they catch those criminals that did this to him.
