This is going to be one hell of a series...I am so excited for this. My dad is a big Lakers fan, I'm a Clippers fan, but I'll be rooting for the Lakers in this one. It's great for the sport, and some of the old timers who have been turned off by the NBA lately will tune in. I'm expecting big time ratings, et cetera. So many people are happy for this. Even if Boston wins, I'll be very happy for K.G., as the guy truly loves the game.

Lakers in 7....

The lake show in 6. Boston hasn't faced this new Laker team yet, since we acquired Gasol. We are going to be a handful for them.

Boston in 6. Yes they have Gasol, but Garnet is a much better all around player. Celtics did a pretty good job containing Lebron, and they are going to make Kobe work and work for every shot. Celtics in 6.

I got Lakers in 5, but I wouldn't be surprised if this comes down to game 7. I honestly think its going to come down to coaching, lakers got a huge advantage there, Doc Rivers is possibly the worst coach to coach in a NBA Championship series.

The biggest mismatch of this series is Phil Jackson V Doc Rivers

I think the Lakers handle them pretty easy. Look what they did to the Spurs

Celtics are playing better ball now, at least. THey can win.. on paper they have more depth and experience. The Lakers basically have Kobe with a bunch of role players. Odom and Gasol are decent, and they can definitely hurt you, but I don't see them as the type of impact players that can lead in a Championship series.

IF the Celtics play smart basketball, ie. don't turn the ball over, block out and rebound the ball; I think they have a great shot at winning the whole thing.

We already beat the Fakers twice this year, and I don't give a shit about Gasol not being on the team. Is he really THAT much of an impact player?

Perkins is a very tough defensive center that should be able to keep Gasol off the boards.

The major thing I'm worried about is getting the game called fairly. I thought the officiating has been anti-Celtic the past 2 series. I'm sure Kobe will get his whistles, but Peirce doesn't seem to get the same whistles for a supposed super star. I mean, he does get calls.. but not like Lebron.

Just about every single "judgment call" went against the C's in the last couple games against the Pistons. I'll be hoping for an evenly called game. Fuck this anti-Celtics conspiracy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
