Agreed. Even before today's awesome showing, this horse clearly had a great chance due to excessive talent and meager opposition. I haven't been this sold on a horse since Silver Charm.

I missed it. i never really liked icebad crane. I put $2 win, place, show though on macho again who placed and won about $25.00 bucks on that, which put me at about -$30.00 bucks on the day. i wasn't very confident on this race simply because it was a bunch of grade 2 horses running a long distance and on Synthetics agains a robot horse(Big Brown).

I thnk some of the jockeys wore their horses down to quickly trying to keep pace(Gayego, and Hry Byrn in perticular). Oh well, that is the last time I bet a race with a 1-5 favorite. He returned $.20 to the dollar.

Belmont will be much better. There will be much better horses.

Oh, and congrats on the win. Hitting tris is the best feeling.

ya it was a good feeling i dont win to many tri's. Lets jus hope something can beat big brown next race so the tri pays more

Big Brown is a good closer, which means he's tailor made for Belmont - we're gonna have a triple crown winner for the first time in 30 years, mark my words.

Was this race ever in doubt? I work at a TAB in Australia and Big Brown opened up betting on fixed odds at $1.20 and after watching the race thats about what he should have been. What a horse!

Did anyone watch Takeover Target's win tonight in this Kris Flyer International Sprint? If not, see if you can get a hold of the video.. and back him when he starts at Royal Ascot (England) in June.

thats not what you said at the start of this thread. But I agree, I was the same way. The way he ran that race, I cant see how anyonw could beat him, baring a huge mistake or accident.

I dont even care about winning money at the Belmont. I just want to see a Triple Crown Winner. It is a very underrated sports acheivement. Probally the hardest to do. Cant wait for it.

I just hate chalk, but the horse impressed me and I underestimated him.
