This is a tricky race, and I still have some research to to, but so far I like Gayego. He was a derby horse and finished 17th. Now the reason for that is he had a bad start and was washed out early. His jockey pulled up a little knowing he couldn't navigate threw the field and hit the board.
Behindatthebar is coming off an impressive win at the Lexington Stakes, and had enough earnings to enter the Derby, but as held off by his trainer Todd Pletcher, who is an experienced Triple Crown trainer.
I will get you more info as the day goes on, on some longshots and rats. I am counting on a lonshot to hit the board whether its 2nd or 3rd. IMO the best bet on a race like this is to do a $1 or $2 tri keying Big Brown and throwing 3 or 4 horses behind him including 1 or 2 rats. I one almost 2 grand on a $12 bet in the Derby. Not a bad day. Plus I hit the tri on race 9 right bfore the Derby and won about $200.
EDIT: Behindatthebar just got scratched from the race.
