Thats a ballsy bet. I dont really ever bet big like that. I have won more money on one and two dollar trifecta and supersectas then when I bet a large amount.
Also, I think he will eat the field in the Preakness, but the Belmont Im a little catious about it. Its a long race, and that is alot of races in a short amount of time. Plus there is always better horses in the Belmont then Preakness.

Still lookin at some different ideas. I have started to grow fond of the Macho Again on the inside rail. He was very impressive at the Derby Trails and has great time on synthetics. he will def be thrown in one of my tri's. I really like all 7 12 13 as well. Looks like they are going to throw blinkers on Gayego, which may be good at the 12 post. I would suggest putting Macho again in a tri.

Also, im kinda fading away from hey byrn(13). I willstill put him in some tri's and super, but not as much as I though I was gonna.
The more and more you read, the more unconfident you get with this shit. I know Im throwing a buch of horses out here but bear with me for a little bit and we will narrow it down to 4-5

Basically it a 11 horse race for second. Just look at it as if you were trying to hit the exacta. Big Brown is far superior then this feild. Most of which should not be in a Grade 1 race(hence why none other then Gayego and Big Brown has).

Can anyone explain why none of these horses can match Secretariat?
The horse set the record in '73, why the fuck can the modern horses not beat that when they have every advantage in terms of more generations to improve genetically, much better steroids, 30+ years to get better at training methods etc...
Modern day athletes are all better than their predecessors and we don't breed them like we do horses so what is the deal?

Everything you stated is arguable. I agree with it though, I have sat there for hours arguing with elders that modern day athletes are better and they all disagree.
Secretariat holds no world records as far as times. He holds the 1 1/2 north American record, but thats it. He may have been more domminant in his time because the competition was easier
