Plus I think this is her first race with blinkers on. Not a bad idea with so many horses.
Edit: Nevermind she wont have them on

ya i never understood why they would take off blinkers or put them on in such a big race. I wouldnt think u would want to change something the horse is use to for possibly the biggest race there horse will ever be in. IMO to big of a risk

I think alot of it has to do with the horses attitude and Peperation in the week or so leadig up to the race. Could be wrong though. alot of time they do it with Maidens if it has not won yet in a few races, They will then run it with Blinkers and typically have good results.

Putting them on is more understandable then taking them off. That is a bad choice IMO(Court Vision).

Im starting to think that Colonel John may be a good horse to key. This will be his third race off the bench which has proven to be a strong race for most horses, has possibly the best jockey in tje field, his trainer won his last start, and his workouts are blazing. Let alone his post position is idealic.

Heard good things about Denis of Cork but with this rain we're getting now. who knows? The track could be all messed up.

That's the long shot tip I got.
