God if my kid did that he would get a beating worse than he'd ever experienced...and then I would never buy him a car ever, he'd have to buy his own. Not sure what my parents did raising me, but it worked. They practically had to force me to get the car that I still have, I kept insisting it was too expensive. At the same time, I realize I'm quite lucky to even have my parents buy me one in the first place.
My parents are the same they helped me get a new car only because they said buying a used one would cost too much interest so I got a ford explorer suv 2 years ago and I took over payments recently it will be fully paid in December.
when my grandma bought me a bugatti veyron i was like wtf i want the batmobile with the rocket launcher tank tracks, or at least you could have got optimus prime for me, damn.
lol but this story reminds me of that video where the girl gets a brand new car and shes like wtf i wanted red/blue or whatever and got all pissed because it was the wrong color. go get a paint job ho. i would buy them the car but with the brakes missing, bwahaha!
I would be ecstatic to get something like that... then have some fun with it, sell it and buy a house.
I also think that father did a horrible job raising his kid and is a bad parent for buying that car for him at that age. He'll wrap it around a tree within a month.
