That's a poor attempt to nutshell Eminem's career negatively.

Try again: Eminem was a cultural phenomenon.

There. More educated.

Really?

Dr. Dre wrote all his beats, and Dre's considered one of the greatest beatmakers of all time.

Just wondering have you listened to any rap songs in the last 5 years?

How come whenever there is a hip hop thread all the whitest crackers on sherdog feel the need to come in and tell everyone how they don't listen to hiphop. We don't care. The thread is about hiphop. If you don't listen to or know anything about hiphop you can't possibly contribute positively so please just lurk. And as far as I know Eminem is highly respected in the hiphop world for his insane lyrical talent. I think his whiteness was actually a drawback in his chosen profession. His talent was at such a level that other rappers were compelled to respect him despite his whiteness. Really I think if Eminem were black he might be talked about as one of the greatest rappers of all time.

So, thanks for confirming that

1. The rap industry is racist towards whites
2. You are a racist piece of shit

I will never understand why white people listen to rap anyway. Alot of lyrics are anti-white, and alot of rappers hate white people even though naieve white teenagers are the ones buying their albums and lining their pockets.

I wish all the rich white suburbanite kids would stop buying this crap so this sick form of "music" would fade away from mainstream and pop culture forever.

I too am sick of the white man having it so hard in this country, we can't even make it to the top of the hiphop industry unless we have loads of actual talent oh boo hoo. I'm sorry to have to be the one to break it to you but, yes, racism still does exist in our society. In the hiphop community and in many other sectors in our society as well. I know that if you just shut your eyes hard enough it seems like it can all just go away but this is a problem that is not going anywhere until we face it head on. But you're so above it all I can tell by your attitude toward hiphop that you wouldn't have any kind of a problem with your daughter dating a black guy, can you teach me to be as colorblind as you

Where in my post did I bitch about white people having it so hard??

I didnt.

I just pointed out the fact that racism goes both ways. But do you hear white people complaining 24/7 about racism and "injustices" like black people?

I sure dont.

Now stop talking out of your ass Jesse Jackass. But hey, thanks for stopping by!!

Like the above poster said, there is racism everywhere in our society. There's a lot of rap out there that isn't racist. I mostly listen to blues and classic rock, but I do have some rap albums. I can appreciate the poetry some of them have. Guys like 2pac, Wu-Tang, Mos Def, and Eminem(etc.), have a talent with words that I respect.

Although I'm white, I'm hardly a rich suburbanite kid who acts hardcore or anything. I'm just a regular dude that appreciates all forms of music.
