Anyone heard anything on this lately? I figured we'd at leat have a tentative release date or something? Especially with the mainstream popularity of MMA starting to kick in.

This week is E3 week, so I was hoping for some updates, but I haven't seen anything yet. Still nothing new since the announcement in January.

i hope they take the time and add all the incoming pride fighters
it would suck if the game didnt have shogun and shit

maybe some WEC guys should be in it too

and of course if they sign fedor he needs to be in it

what's weird though is i havent heard any of the fighters in any interviews talk about being motion captured for the game. they use motion cap with all sports games now...especially to get a guy's stance or the way they thow strikes down. im soooo glad THQ has this game, the other UFC titles sucked monkey cock.

thq will make an amazing game, couple that with geat online play..we oculd have a winner

The game may not be that far along yet or THQ is keeping everything very quiet and underwraps. There hopefully will be something on it this week with E3. As big as the UFC is getting you would think THQ would try to have something to at least show, but it may be to early.

They haven't even told the public which company is developing the game (THQ is NOT the developer. They're publishing it.)

i have been waiting for a good MMA game...hopefully THQ makes this one worth it!

As much as I'd want to have a sick MMA video game for my 360, I just don't see it working. Grappling and wrestling just can't be digitized and still fun/in any way accurate. Unless THQ pulls out a miracle, I'm gonna have to go with Soul Calibur 4 instead.

Tapout 2 for XBox was pretty decent with the grappling/reversals. It was all very basic, but it was fun to play once you got the hang of it, which took a while. With enough time and money, I think it could be great
