Personally, I am very proud of my team for sticking together during the past five years - during the good times and the bad times. Thankfully, obviously, there have been a TON more good times than bad. This team is a championship team and I am very proud to be part of it. Along with our fighters and students, which are like family, we have an amazing group of over 15 staff - which pour their hearts out into the gym with their teaching, work ethics, and most importantly their dedication to their students.
This gym was started with nothing by two college kids - my brother and I. We literally had nothing but a credit card. It is surreal to see how this project has evolved and become something important. We have helped hundreds of people improve their lives and have definitely made a positive impact - plus we have developed champions at FFA. We have sent competitors to the premier shows in grappling and MMA (ADCC - four times, the UFC, BodogFight, amongst other prestigious events) - and we did all this from scratch, with homegrown talent, within a few years.
A HUGE thanks to everyone over the past years for the support and help. There are too many people to list, literally over a hundred people who were VERY important in getting us here. You all know who you are. One person I have to mention though is my wife Rima, who had a HUGE part in kicking our gym into the next gear.
