wondering about debuts for the following who have signed with the ufc:
Lombard:
visa issue, but when will we see him
Jacare:
heard he signed but have seen nothing official from ufc on signing or debut
Steve Bruno:
torn rotator cuff out for several months was the report...anything new on condition or debut?
Arona:
heard reports that he was finalizing a deal with ufc...no recent news, though
Mark Hunt:
read that dana stated recently that mark was under contract but they were trying to figure somethings out for mark (mark should fight CC at CC's next showing)

How can you say Gomi/Diaz is even a nominee for fight of the year?

1 fighter wasn't even a 155 fighter, the other had nothing to gain by winning and treated the fight as part of his Las Vegas vacation itinerary!

The fight had no consequence at all, it was pretty much as irrelevant as a fight can be that features 2 big org fighters. It makes no sense to even consider it as fight of the year. Diaz got dropped and clobbered but survived, Gomi gassed completely and got tapped for 5 minutes then got gogo'd because he had no energy.

Urijah faber could have subbed Gomi at that time, it makes no sense. Theres been at least 10 fights this year with more consequence AND more even.
