This was just released at ComicCon, and of course, it doesn't reveal anything about the story, but about the traps... the guy in the video is Det. Strahm, one of the 'survivors' of Saw 4, apparently. And the trap itself is a glass box with tubes attached...
Many fans are predicting that the trap relates to people's fear of drowning... if that is true... it will renew many fan's faith in the traps of the new Saw movies... because the traps in Saw 4 were stale.
Anyway, movie and horror fans are welcome to respond with contributing comments... any other posters are welcome to 'ttt' this thread.

The best trap that the Saw movies came up with is how they can get people to pay for these increasingly shitty movies. The first Saw was good but after that they got really bad.

lol. So very true. I liked one and two. Tolerated 3. But 4 was horrible. Absolutely horrible. And the fact that they turn out out EVERY year, shows they take no time to carefully craft a film.

Dreaming is work, you know - there I am in a comfortable bed, the next thing you know I have to build a go-kart with my ex-landlord.
I liked 1, 2 was ok, but 3 and 4 sucked badly. They're planning on doing 6 of these, and I predict they'll only get worse, yet people will continue to flock to the theaters to see the shit.
1 was a great film. Haven't seen the second. 3 was ok, but the guy at the end was a fucking retard and Idk how the old dude lived getting a buzz saw to his throat, didn't see the 4th maybe it explains how he survived.

He died in 3. In 4 they show the backstory of John and what set him off to start doing the traps in the first place. The traps in Saw 4 were planned by Jigsaw right before he died in 3 and there is an overlapping time pattern to 3 and 4, also the rest of 4 was carried out by accomplices and his apprentice.
saw (1) was very good, saw 2 was EXCELLENT (best in the series), saw 3 was just overkill on the gore, and saw 4 was just fucking terrible. hopefully #5 gets the series back on track, every new version has a different director/writer so who knows.

good call, i only liked part one, but i have seen the rest of them every year for some strange reason....i guess they got me in that trap, aint that a bitch!
