I think we in the U.S. should have the same policy. This way ALL of our political leaders would know what it's like to serve and maybe have more thoughtful debate when sending our soldiers into war. It would also serve to have more respect to our armed forces by civilians and our civilians would share a common bond with our men and women in arms.

I was in Isreal in 96 to teach Hand to Hand Combat techniques to Isreal Spec-ops fellas Including the Elite Golani Force and me and the Lt.Col. from the Marines would go out to the clubs at night and meet some of the hottest hornyest Isreali chicks you ever saw. I loved it there. I loved the weather, the desert, and chicks. Had a sick time.
