its not a racial topic. i just point out that Europe and America (the two areas with the greatest density and brightness of light) are predominantly caucasian. and that caucasians ushered in these technologies since the industrial revolution.

The photo merely reveals where the greatest population centers are. I'm not sure why you don't see that India, Japan and China have lots of lights -- these are not generally thought of as Caucasian countries.

I like how the main point soars right over everyone's head. As China, India and other places 'catch up' with their forays into technology and laziness and the ever-expanding quest for convenience and stupidity, they too will be putting more and more vehicles on the road, using more dishwashers etc.. and creating waste just as good as the big boys over in North America.

It will be a global catastrophe and fun to watch.

The human race doesnt have the power to make a lasting effect to an entire planets life cycle. We are just the blink of an eye to the planet and the only damage we can do is to ourselves through weapons. Climate change is natural on Earth and will always happen even after humans are extinct.
