It's immature to just call a 16 year old a retard -- also, we don't even know the complete story.

the car was on him for 3 hours. by about 10 minutes there would already be a bunch more cops there. if when the cops got there if they seen it was safer to move the car, the car would have been moved. obviously they felt by moving it would have made it worse(probably not knowing how bad he was injured already)
if you're going to chose to believe this was intentional the amount of time the car was on him shouldn't be the thing to make you think that.

"Call back up and report which way he's heading so it would be easier to catch him" by the time back up came he would be long gone. he's not in a car, he's not limited to the roads. the kid could have hopped off his bike then jumped some fences of peoples yards.

I don't think you ever seen a real chase..there able to do that against vehicles. Most likely there wil be another cop in the area...or all the time...Cops lose sights of there guys all the time! they call in descriptions and what areas he's heading to. If he hops of the bike then thats when the fat pig gets off his ass and chases him. YOU NEVER run the guy over..lol Have you ever ran from the cops? Then you would know I'm right. You should see a gps system or a map..then you would know theres so many ways to cut someone off. Specially on a MOTHERFUCKING BICYCLE..! When they call back up. EVERYONE comes! "FINALLY SOME ACTION"
I just saw a high speed chase on cops with a biker. Way faster then a bike and they were able to get him in custody without killing him. I guess he had "good luck" or maybe the fact those officers were trained properly?
BEST WAY TO CATCH A KID ON A BIKE is to drive next to them and open the door!

Yeah, I guess you're right. I have no reason to believe that the cops did it intentionally anyways.

as i said, if i was being chased once i notice the cop turned off, whether cut to me off or do what ever that's when i would get off the road aswell.
same thing goes for back up, that's when he turns down an alley or somewhere the car won't fit.
but seriously, how many times does a cop turn off the road the suspect is on and try to cut him off on some other road. maybe in a city with only 1 or two roads that might work. but when he can go through yards or any other street it kind of ruins that whole plan
if there is anyone familiar with law enforcement in this thread, would they tell you to turn off the road in hopes of cutting the guy off on some intersection or something?

I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I think more idiots who do stupid, reckless things like evade cops should be wiped out, preferably instantly to avoid unnecessary suffering. Most jackasses who try that kind of thing get off way too easy IMO, another couple months in jail. It's unfortunate that this guy had to suffer with a car on top of him for hours, but he did a stupid hood act and died for it.
I guess it depends on the circles you run in, but what halfway "good person" would even think about running from a cop on a bike? He was 16/17, certainly old enough to understand the seriousness of that act. No sympathy from me whatsoever. Good riddance.
I can't believe that people are trying to blame the cop for it, how back asswards is that.

I mean that is pretty stupid.
Imagine kid riding his bike 20 kmph and you taser him.
Fucker falls on his head and cracks his skull.

To say "He was running!" does not instantly absolve all responsibility. In fact, none of us know exactly what happened there and who is guilty of what, hopefully it was a terribly unfortunate & unavoidable accident, but this certainly needs some investigation.
