You know I'm a big Breen mark but even I have to admit that 10 hours of him a week is pushing it. However, it's still better then McCray. He wasn't horrible but he added dick to the show. I just hope they don't put Hunt on the Beatdown. I can't even watch her vid interviews bc she is fucking horrible.

I too really struggle to listen to the Beatdown nowadays without Gross.
People used to call Gross mean and rude, but the reality is, he did a brilliant job of keeping TJ in check.

TJ was bearable when he was on with Gross, but ever since Gross left Sherdog,
TJ has developed a huge ego, and become very cocky.

Ive lost count of how many times ive had to shake my head in disbelief at some of the comments he makes, or the silly sound effects he plays and interupts some serious commentary,
its just unbelievable

So I really struggle to listen to the beatdown nowadays, although i do try ...... thankfully the SDS seems to have gone from strength to strength and has taken over as the flagship show.

And Breen is the best man suited for fighter interviews, almost on a par with Gross in that dept

^----i agree completly but what is especially annoying about tj is the was he quantifies every single statement with a "don't get me wrong but..." or a "i am not trying to say he is the greatest striker ever" this kind of stuff just makes for poor radio and you can't disagree w/ him on anything b/c he never really makes a definate stand on anything

i think that tj gets some undue hate for sure. the only thing that pisses me off about him is that he feels like he HAS to have an opinion even when someone a little more savvy like breen is there.

for instance, i think it was on monday, someone called about ibarra's shortcomings in getting rampage ready for forrest, and then tj launches this like 5 minuutes spiel on how ibarra is perfect. then breen has to take another 5 minutes explaining why the caller has a point without making tj look like an idiot.
