Animal MMA Battles!!!

Wolverine Jiu Jitsu - Aggressive Guard Techniques

this is from Marty Stouffer's Wild America. the wolverine and the male grey wolf began fighting over what looks like a frozen deer carcass

the wolverine's got a nasty guard!

no joke, look as he maneuvers, rolling in and out of guard, jocking for position, transitioning move to move; utilizing aggressive technique over his bigger opponent.

and you'll see for a moment, he almost took the wolf's back at 1:04.

the wolverine also got him in a crazy looking neck crank sub. the wolf would’ve tapped…but he has no hands…so he verbally submitted by squealing…but in the wild there is no ref…

you could tell at a certain point, the wolf would’ve just bailed out, but he was completely trapped by the vicious bjj ground game of this ravenous creature…and if you pause it at the 1:11 mark, you'll see the expression on the wolf’s face was like, “ohhh shit! I just fuct wit the wrong weasel!!!

I bet that when the wolf got back to the wolf pack, the other wolves must’ve been like, “WTF happened to you!?!” and he’d make up some shit like, “oh, I just ran into a grizzly bear…10th Dan…but I’m alright

something interesting that I’ve noticed while observing nature compete, you’ll see some animals take a bottom position to get an advantage over their opposition; I’ve seen lions do this against hyenas for example. This is another aspect of why I think BJJ is such a dominant sport in MMA…it’s more geared towards nature…unless you pull guard against Fedor...but I'm talking nature, cyborgs don’t count.

see, look, this wolf wanted nothing to do with the wolverine’s ground game

Canadian Aboriginals, trappers and woodsmen believed that carcajous (wolverines) were somehow enchanted or had demonic powers because they were the only animals that were able to take the food from their traps without being seen, heard or caught.

rofl that wolverine has got a sick guard, that neck crank he pulled was sweet,

i have 2 dogs, one is a bit bigger than the other, and when they playfight the smaller one always pulls guard, and then it just looks like a bjj match, its so funny to watch

Must be a blue belt, he had a perfect setup for an arm triangle from the bottom several times and just let it go.
