You are an idiot. I should stop there but ill humor you anyway. John McCain passed up getting out of his POW camp early to stay with the rest of his brothers in arms so if you consider that singing your way out the i guess your right. Mccain doesnt gloriy his service the media does and thats not his fault and even if he did so what the man has been through more pain in those years then you probably will ever experience in your entire life. McCains service doesnt gurantee him the right to be president but if your going to compare mccains resume to Obamas i think we know who wins that battle.

I do not blame the soldiers however, I blame the horrible leaders for leading our troops into conflicts like this under nonsense propoganda mantras like "they hate our freedom" , "we will bring them democracy", "they have WMDs" etc... We don't have a democracy in the US, we have a republic.
In reality its installed fear for profit.
Bechtel & Halliburton are the real benefactors of these wars NOT the American people.
We've made more enemies, wasted more money and disenfranchised our citizens so politicians can make sweetheart deals so they're kids will never have to serve a day in their lives and continue live rich off the braindead Americans who work their plan through.

What the fuck is a "legitimate war"? And how does that make McCain's contribution as a soldier any less?
Honestly, I don't give a shit about this cookie cutter anti-war rant. You think you're an original thinker with this shit? I work in a bar, and all the illiterate people come in with this same speech right off the assembly line. It's mindless.

Obviously you don't. You lack self-awareness.
And where's your proof that he talked? I've heard that bullshit rumor before. You're slandering the man on your weakass speculation.
That makes you a pile of shit. You < McCain.
And that was my original contention.

Well, maybe the reason why you keep hearing it over and over again is because its true. Honestly, I'm having a hard time figuring out why you're getting so upset. We can't respect someone for their military service and criticize their political service at the same time?
I've seen you're posts in the DnS so I always thought of you as a pretty rationale person, but I'm a bit perplexed at your anger in this thread.

A war which was necessary like WWII is a legitimate war.
McCain served nobody but himself with his POW time spent in Vietnam.
Especially if the fucker is wanting to stay in Iraq for the next 100 years.
Hes learned nothing.

I think I know what you mean, The majority of people are against the war now only because it isn't going well. And really, no one's doing anything to stop is, because the majority of American people don't have any family members serving.
It's a shame. In my opinion no war is legitimate. There's more than enough planet and resources for everyone, 100 times over. Human beings really need mental help

Wrong. There was more people against this war before it started than any other war fought in the history of mankind.
It hasn't been going well because its impossible to go well when the objectives are simply "win".
Does winning mean killing every person in Iraq? Or does winning mean installing democracy in a place where its impossible?
As I've stated before WE don't even have a democracy in this country, we have a Republic.

Yeah
And who are we to spread our Political ways when OUR own country has so many damn issues. As if we have proved how great our political system is. We have a guy who can hardly speak in the white house, foul play a foot at both elections for him, and a war no one wants but we are in anyway, yeah, this place runs like fucking CLock work.
Its always about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Can anyone in here discuss anything without resorting to childish insults? I'm a pile of shit just because I have my doubts about his whole POW hero story? Can anyone have a fucking opinion around here? You two obviously need manpons. My bad if he obviously seems to deserve more glory and recognition than any soldier in history just because he was a POW in a b/s war. Oh...and by the way, I'm not voting for Obama. I wasn't comparing Mccain's resume to Obamas so don't put words in my mouth to try and support your arguement. Honestly, I have my views upon the government, and think we're all gonna lose no matter who we vote for, but I won't even get into that now. Also, I don't buy that whole "He stayed behind with his brothers!" angle. Like the Vietcong were like "You can leave now if you'd like!" and he was like "No, I think I'll just stay a little longer." Like any POW had a fucking choice. GTFOH. Even if they gave him the option to leave, that would mean HE GAVE INFO. By your logic, no POWs in Vietnam would have been left behind. I guess Mccain's case happened to be special, huh? You talk about my "weakass speculation" when all you have is his word. You must believe everything you hear as long as it's USA all the way huh. I bet you voted for Bush. TWICE.
