Sounds like you need autoGK areally cool GUI (Graphic User Interface) Program for converting the dvd video to other formats like Avi with divx or xvid etc.

Quick questions to HL makers.

What the best container format ( Avi wmv etc) to use in these video editing programs?
And will the applications encode the output video for you or do you have to make sure all the video is in the same format?

Can you effect audio and video sync in real time or do you have to take precise measurements when timing your video to your audio?

Can someone help me please. I can't open the word document because it's 6.0 or something like that. my WMM won't load .avi files so I can't load 95% of the files I own. I was wondering what's the best Movie making program. I have been searching through sherdog but haven't found any answers.

Got to find the right music or even the best cut video won't look as good.

This is the best thing to remember in making a HL. The music and timing of the video makes for a better HL, as all of Boondock's HLs are very well timed

Thanks for the FAQ. I'm going to make a HL for my English video project. But I need a program. I'm going to try to find Adobe Premiere but if I can't, anyone know any other programs I can use?
