How to make gifs with Ulead Gif Animator

one other thing
I have my video loaded into ulead, but I only want to use the lower left quarter (section) of the video for the gif

how do I do that

on your tool bar, use the top right square thing with the arrow, make a square or rectangle around what part you want then press ctrl +R

you can only crop out gifs and not video i belive

Anyone else have problems with Ulead when ever you are using approximately 500 frames or more?

I've never made a gif with more than 400 frames, the gif size would be too big.
Btw try to split the gif in parts and then try to put them together.

I got it working.

It is best to resize the video when you convert it before opening it to Ulead.

Plus anything more then 600 frames or so is not going to work.
