Here is a tip for photoshop. I find it too annoying to take the sherdog for example, and erase out the bits covering the dog below it. Too many mistakes, too many undos, etc.. What you want to do is line up the dog in all your frames. Then go through, make duplicate layers of the background and drag that new layer over top of your sherdog dog layer. Then you can use the eraser to erase out the parts where your dog should be.
That's how I've started doing things that require covering up, etc.. Provides for better consistency across all the frames as opposed to trying to erase parts of your dog in every frame. Am still new to ULead and haven't really done much inside of there yet aside from resize, etc../
