Here is a tip for photoshop. I find it too annoying to take the sherdog for example, and erase out the bits covering the dog below it. Too many mistakes, too many undos, etc.. What you want to do is line up the dog in all your frames. Then go through, make duplicate layers of the background and drag that new layer over top of your sherdog dog layer. Then you can use the eraser to erase out the parts where your dog should be.

That's how I've started doing things that require covering up, etc.. Provides for better consistency across all the frames as opposed to trying to erase parts of your dog in every frame. Am still new to ULead and haven't really done much inside of there yet aside from resize, etc../

Thanks for the replies, Roberto & Pootietang. Sounds like it's somewhat complicated, but I'll give it a shot.

Edit: Btw, Pootietang, you should post your gifs in the gif-thread, so more people can see them.

I would but figured after being barred from P&M for a month, didn't want to flood it with crap that's already been posted countless times. Besides the BJ GIFs are 50 megs all together if I posted 1-5 :/ Trying to think of a new one, even sat watched Monster Squad last night and was disappointed to not find any scenes I really liked.

My experience with GIFs so far is that nothing is really complicated, it's just so freaking tedious tho. I'm used to sitting down and working on stuff for hours on end so doing these doesn't bother me at all. Finding pictures to use for heads and other source material is the hardest part by far. Photoshop is easy.
