The Simpsons during Seasons 5 and 6 is the funniest any TV show has been, ever.

Family Guy was great before they got cancelled, but it sucks now. It's just turned into a little 10 second skits compilation of "like the time when" / "more (adjevtive) than + pop culture reference".

Other than making the show just a series of pop culture references and taking away any plot or character development they also completely fucked up the Stewie character. The crux of his hilarity as a character used to be his evilness and English-ness. Now he's just gay. His character is way way less funny.

The same can be said about The Simpsons. It sucks now. They, similarly to Family Guy adn Stewie, ruined the Homer character. All he does now is "mmmmm.... (adjective)" and the "do ittttt" while shaking a fist thing.

Both suck now and used to be great, but The Simpsons was greater.

Good post, Family guy is completely unoriginal and like you said it's just a compilation of unrelated jokes. They go out of their way every episode to make sure that it's obvious that Stewie is gay, which is lame as hell. He used to be cool. Same with Homer, he got dumber as the seasons went on, although in a bad way.
