I'm not a member of this school of thought that no matter HOW HELPLESS or INCAPACITATED or OUT COLD your opponent is, you get on top of him as fast as you can before the ref gets there...cause you KNOW the ref is coming and you got to literally beat him to the punch, see.......and you get in that one or two cheap shots. I mean, you might not ever legally have some guy totally incapacitated in front of you that you can just unload a vicious punch on without going to jail.

There's a difference between hitting a guy and him going down still able to fight, so you have to follow up, and these total limp body KO's where the guy launches himself down on the out cold opponent as fast as he can, desperate to get in a few cheap shots before the ref can get in and stop it.

This is no different than the guys that refuse to release chokes when the ref tells them to. They should be DQ'd and if they do it again banned from the sport.

You do realize there are guys who can get flash KO'ed and be awake in a matter of seconds. You gotta get on top of the guy and finish it, bottom line.
