So I was debating with some local dipshits about ****l Gear Solid 4 and they were talking about it like it was PS3's savior and all... So I'm over here telling them that if thats the best PS3 has then its in trouble. So anyway I'm more of a PS3 fan since I love Tekken and a few other exclusives that Sony used to have but I'm not blind. I know 360 is completely destroying the PS3 and I was just wondering what some of you prefered.

The reason I'm sort of going from being a PS fan to a Microsoft fan is cause:

1) It took PS3 a year to release after the 360 and I was hoping the wait was worth it. IT WASN'T.
2) 360 stole some of the PS's biggest hits such as Ridge Racer, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, etc.
3) 360 has WAY better exclusives such as Halo, Gears, Bioshock, etc.
4) The PS3 took a page out of the console they completely destroyed in their last war and it seems to have backfired. Why the fuck would you take something from the system you just destroyed?
5) The online IS WAY better on X-Box Live, PS3's is free but it seems that even that isn't stopping most people from going X-Box.
6) Where the fuck are the PS3 exclusives? Resistance ain't gonna cut it.
7) The PS3 wasn't worth the price.
8) The PS3's pride (the 60 gig disk) was destroyed by Microsoft's X-Box Elite.
9) When is the Sony going to use the power of the Blu Ray disc? 10x more space than X-Box's games yet you have a game like NFS or COD4 and its exactly the same. Where did all that space go?

So if you were to buy ONE which one would you go with? PS3 or 360?




Personally, I'll go with both but I'm waiting for the PS3 until Killzone 2 or Tekken 6 comes out. For now or anybody who had to choose one I'd say go with the 360.








Edit: Why is everybody talking about Tekken 6 like its going to hit the market anytime soon? It won't be @least a year from now till it comes out on console anyway. That was one of the 3 main reasons that has kept me from purchasing a PS3 since the only reason I'm buying a PS3 is Tekken and Killzone 2. Killzone 2 and Tekken were originally supposed to be out by May 2006 and its almost may 2008 and nothing.

Either way, from what I've read, it looks like I may give PS3 a chance. I'm also getting an Elite though.

Fuck that. Mine died out in a year. I completely regret getting a 360. ps3 is just as expensive but comes with blu-ray, therefore it is the better buy.

Yeah but it fucks up after so much usage anyway. As far as games though, what would you buy?

Unless you like to play video games...............360 has problems but look at the gaming library.

I don't have either, both are more than my car payment of $315. I think I'd get a 360 cause thats what my friends have and they say the online gaming is sick.

Its interesting to see the Wii has more exclusives than the PS3 but come on... they're kids games... Its like comparing KOTC to Pride and UFC with UFC being 360, Pride and Pride being PS3 meaning PS3 is dying. lol Sucks for me since I was both a PS3 and Pride fan!

Oh yeah, not to mention that games like Call of Duty are on both systems but you have like a hundred playing on PS3 while you have a few hundred thousand playing on 360.

360 has a 15% failure rate out the box. Microsoft spent over 1 billion dollars fixing broken 360 with warrenties.. Makes you wonder if microsoft cares about quality.
HD DVD is on its way out and Blue Ray staying, its hard to pick 360 over the PS3 now. The 360 was a good system for the time (as long as you have a warrenty), but PS3 is the future.
But in the end it's about the games, what system has the games you like to play.

I don't have any next gen console. In fact, until recently I only had an oldschool NES. Then my brother in law bought himself a PS3, gave me his old XBOX. I think in a couple years I may get a new console (which by then will be old) and right now I'm leaning towards 360 because of the games. Ones in particular I really want are Ninja Gaiden II and Halo 3 (since I love Ninja Gaiden and Halo 2 on my "new" XBOX classic)
