I know there's a couple reveiws on the Windy training glove but 1 only really went in-depth.
I ordered these from Paul at
www.mmamuscle.com when they first got back in stock on 10/18 and I revieved on the 24th.
Look:I got the 16 oz. and they were'nt as big as I was expecting them to be.
Materiel:These gloves have to be made of some of the finest leather i've seen,it's smooth and durable, and it looks like it won't be wearing anytime soon. Also the leather is tougher than the leather Twins gloves are made of so take that into account when your looking for a glove that lasts.
Fit:They don't have that snug fit like Twins has but it's still nice and secure with wraps,I love how the fist is shaped to your hand making them more comfortable.
Closure system:I heard that the velcro on the gloves were strong from some reviews on here, well they were'nt lying it's the strongest velcro i've ever seen on ANYTHING,the velcro is WAY WAY better than Twins Fairtex's,(especially Fairtex after 6 months the stick of the velcro wears off badly).
Foam:The foam in the gloves is soft on the fist area, and hard on the back-hand area,if you feel around inside the glove you'll find that there's a extra layer of soft-foam directly on the fist.
Application:I quit my MMA gym so I doubt i'll be using these for sparring but i've done alot heavy bag and thai pad work with them and they feel great. My knuckles are still aching after a good session though cause I took alot of time off,but these gloves are perfect for whatever your looking to do.
Overall:In my opinion these are the best Thai gloves on the market, they're way better than Twins or Fairtex, and if your looking for a new glove i'd highly reccomend these, but if you still want some different colors because they are only available in re or black (at least in the US) i'd go with Twins which are the 2nd best in my opinion.
On all the products I reviewed i've given the same scor,I guess i'm just attracted to quality equipment but......
