White Nogi Kingpin review

I've been a fan of Nogi for a long time. I've always liked they're simple sporty designs and the quality of their products. I was really happy when I saw they had a few new styles so I jumped on them. I actually bought the kingpins, volts and the hoodie but this review will focus on the kingpins.

Design
Right off the bat, the thing that jumps out at me is the unique styling and design of the shorts. The design is rather bold but it's tasteful. No pitbulls or skulls here LOL! They actually kind of remind of basketball shorts. There is real attention to detail here, from the drawstring to the pattern in the background and the high quality embroidery. I like the color scheme too.

Fit
I'm a true 33" waist so I usually buy 34s. I picked these up in 34 and they fit great. they also run a little longer than I expected which is a good thing. I have long legs so they fit me well, not short like my Sprawls. The leg opening is decent too and with the split seam, it allows for plenty of mobility.
They have changed their enclosure system to a more traditional style and I think it's a good move. My old Bones don't seem to hold together as well so this is definitely an improvement.

Construction
The construction is top notch and IMO much improved over their old designs. All the stitching is solid and material tough but light. The embroidery looks and feels great as well.

Overall these are really great looking shorts that fit well, look great and perform even better. I definitely recommend these shorts if you're looking for something a bit different.

placing an order tonight, thanks for the review!

Question about sizing. I can range from 30-32" depending on what brands/styles etc I got with. My Koral VT's are 32's and feel good, but my sprawl v-flex's are 30's and also feel good. Any suggestions on sizing?

Hmm... good question.. I would say go with the 32s because the Sprawls have an elastic waistband right? What's your jean size?

HOLY SHIT! Those are sick!

How do they compare to ADX, Hayabusa, Warrior or Venum?

And how long do you think they'll have these for? Because I'm planning on getting some in a few months

yes, elastic band. I usually wear 32" in jeans, but can get away with 30's...

The kingpins are a limited edition short but will be back in different colors when we sell out of these. They are pretty true to size. I wear them a little lose like my jeans so I wear a 34 but when I am in shape and fight I wear a 32.
