V&M VT Shorts Review *pics*

I've had these shorts for about six months now and they are still holding up and all the decals are still intact. The shorts are double layered which make them quite tight and are made out of lycra material. They can be tied with a fancy "V&M" printed lace as seen in the picture.

The length of the shorts are 11" and the width is according to your waist size. Though the shorts are shorter than the average vale tudo shorts, this prevents them from riding up your legs. The shorts are a bit low rise, so as long as you don't mind your jock strap popping out the back you should have no problem with them. IMO these shorts aren't bad, but they aren't great. The only problem I have with them is that instead of riding up, sometimes they will slip down the rear and while rolling you'll constantly be pulling them up to cover your ass crack.

Do squats. Use the drawstring too, I think its there for a reason, plus maybe compression shorts?

Nice review too, btw. I have a question though: are all the seams flatlock? it looks like most are in the picture, but I couldn't tell around some parts.

I have a pair of black V&M VT shorts too. Though mine are completely black save for a small tag witg a Brazilian flag on it.
They're the only pair of VT shorts I have so I can't really compare them to any other brand but they're not bad. I'm 5'11" and in the 155-165lbs range and the mediums fit me great. As the reviewer said, they have a low waist but that's not much of a problem to me.
Lately, I have been wearing when competing and I find VT shorts much more comfortable to compete in (I always train in board shorts). I've had mine for a year and a half and they are holding up well.

I do use the drawstring, just after a couple of minutes of rolling any knot will become loose; much like gi pants. Compression shorts are too long to wear underneath.

In response to your question all the seams are flatlock. The shorts seems to be stitched very tight and I have yet to have them rip.
